Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the most celebrated films of Karan Johar. KJo made his directorial debut with the 1998 film. It featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji in pivotal roles. Salman Khan, too, had an important part to play in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The music album of the movie was a hit as well. 

25 years down the line, the song Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee is likely to get a 2.0 version. Karan hinted about the same on his Instagram story.

Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee to get a remake; details

Sony Music India shared a poster of Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee ft. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai trio – SRK, Kajol and Rani. As mentioned by the music label, B Praak and Jaani will work on the new version of the famous song.

Spilling the beans about Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee's new version, the label wrote, "Throwback Tuesday: After 25 years, here's bringing back all the feels with TujheYaadNaMeriAayee by bpraak and jaani777 Coming soon (sic)."

Meanwhile, Karan returned to director's chair after 7 years with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The filmmaker helmed the movie with a talented star cast that included Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

The director is gearing up for Koffee With Karan 8. His infamous chat show is all set to return on Disney+ Hotstar on October 26, 2023.
