Bhuvan Bam has started the shooting for his big Bollywood debut film Kuku Ki Kundali in Lucknow. His photos from the sets are now leaked and all over the internet. One of the photos also features Manoj Pahwa. The female lead Wamiqa Gabbi has not yet started shooting for the movie, but there an update on that too. Here's everything you need to know…
Bhuvan Bam, scheduled for his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Kuku Ki Kundali, was spotted shooting for the movie in Lucknow. Images from the sets have been leaked. The pictures suggest mall set-up, and Bhuvan, wearing a pink shirt, looks visibly upset. Manoj Pahwa, also seen in one of the images, sports a white polo t-shirt. Joining him is actor Geeta Agarwal Sharma who stands out for carrying a glimmery gold tote bag. For the uninitiated, this is the first schedule of the movie.
The production is expected to move to Kanpur briefly, too. The shoot is likely to continue for a month long (till March). Kuku Ki Kundali was also shot in a dharamshala in Daliganj previously. Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays one of the female leads in the movie, is expected to join the shoot soon.

Kuku Ki Kundali actually features two female leads. While Wamiqa is one of them, the other is a ghost. This is because the movie’s theme is a ghost marriage-comedy. The story is about Kuku’s kundali (astrological chart) being flawed. The only way he and his future spouse can be protected is if Kuku marries a ghost first.
While both Bhuvan and Karan Johar officially confirmed the project (with the comedian sharing the big update with his fans on October 2025), other details related to the film are currently under the wraps.
