Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt trailer: Suniel Shetty is on a mission in search of the ultimate MMA fighter in the country

Mixed martial arts definitely holds a place as one of the most demanding and grueling combat sports in the world. The sport, that puts to test the combatant’s mind and spirit as well as their body, has gained significant popularity all across the globe, including in India. In some great news for Indian fans of MMA, a reality series based on the exciting sport will soon make its way onto the silver screen soon. Titled Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt, the series will be hosted by actor and MMA enthusiast Suniel Shetty. The makers recently unveiled the trailer for the upcoming show.

The trailer introduces us to the 16 MMA fighters who will be competing for the coveted trophy, and features some snippets of their journeys to become combatants, despite the obstacles that lay in their way. While one person speaks about how all they know is the sport, another female contestant is heard talking about how people used to tell her that the sport was only for men. The trailer also features some grueling glimpses of the battles that will go on in the ring.

The contestants, both male and female, will have to battle it out in 13 fights to take home the title of Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt Champion.

In a statement, Suniel said“MMA is truly an interesting sport. Discipline, determination, and dedication are at the very core of this sport and that's something we are looking for in our participants.

The actor went on to talk about how the upcoming show offered the contestants a global platform to represent their tenacity in the sport.

Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt will be available for streaming on MX Player, from February 12, 2023 onwards.
