Kunal Kapoor’s Koi Na Jaane releases on Amazon Prime Video

After a long wait, actor Kunal Kapoor will once again be seen in a lead role in Koi Jaane Na, which also stars Amyra Dastur.

The Bollywood suspense thriller released on May 27 on Amazon Prime Video. The film marks the directorial debut of Amin Hajee, who played a speech-impaired drummer named Bagha in Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2001 release Lagaan that had Aamir Khan in the lead.

Koi Na Jaane revolves around writer Kabir Kapoor (Kunal Kapoor)’s life. Having divorced his wife Rashmi (Vidya Malvade) after she cheated on him with his publisher Randeep (Randeep Arya), he becomes heartbroken. In order to find some inspiration for his novel, Kabir goes to a hill station, where he falls in love with Suhana (Amyra Dastur). While in the small town, he takes up the job of a ghost writer, and introduces a character Zaraan Khan in his murder mystery novels. Kabir’s life takes a dramatic turn when Zaraan’s character comes to life and the town witnesses murders like in the stories.

Apart from Kunal and Amayra, the film also stars Ashwini Kalsekar, Atul Kulkarni and Karim Hajee in pivotal roles. It will also see Aamir Khan and Elli Avrram in special appearances. The duo will be seen in the special song Har Funn Maula.
