Kunal Kemmu: I’m able to identify my own potential now with more opportunities

Kunal Kemmu is all set to return as the powerful SP Abhay Pratap Singh in the third season of Abhay. The actor has now opened up about his acting career, saying how he is now able to identify his own potential. 

“I’m glad to get a number of opportunities. With this, I’m very much able to identify my own potential. Finally, I am getting to do work that I wanted to do. Exploring characters, I have never done before is an experience itself (sic),” he said as reported by Hindustan Times. 

Talking about his role as the police officer in Abhay, he said that he is enjoying working on it as he gets to play a character with multiple layers. The actor also added that the icing on the cake is that the audience are enjoying it and that is the reason why they are returning with a third season. 

In another recent interview, the actor talked about what it takes to make an OTT series. The actor said while it was exciting to make a show that has three seasons, it is important to take it one step at a time. 

Directed by Ken Ghosh, Abhay follows a police officer who has the mindset of a criminal. The first season of the crime thriller series started streaming on ZEE5 on February 7, 2019.  

Produced by Zee Studios, the third season of the show also stars Asha Negi and Nidhi Singh in returning roles. The third season is set to start streaming on ZEE5 from April 8.
