Netflix has released the new trailer of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. A mysterious pair of weasels, Klaus and Veruca, have set their sights on a collection of four Tiashang weapons that are extremely powerful and are in China. The eleven- episode series follows the journey of the 'Dragon Master' Po (voiced by Jack Black) as he meets a no-nonsense English knight Luthera, the Wandering Blade (Rita Ora). The duo, who are polar opposites, need to deal with each other on the journey. While Po is light-hearted, Wandering Blade means business. The plot seems to revolve around two mismatched warriors who set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons and save the world from destruction.

Going by the trailer, Po is accused of destroying a village and the title Dragon Master is taken away from him. The dumpling shop also returns the box of Dragon Master toys. Po considers this opportunity of saving China and regaining the title of Dragon Master an sets off on the journey. 

The Kung Fu Panda franchise comprises three films- Kung Fu Panda (2008), Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), and Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016), along with three television series: Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (2011–2016), The Paws of Destiny (2018–2019), and The Dragon Knight (2022). The Dragon Knight is the third in the television series. The series also has four short films and a holiday special. The plot of the franchise revolves around the journey of a clumsy Panda called Po Ping, who is chosen as the Dragon Warrior and Kung fu master.  

The news series also features voices by James Hong (Mr. Ping), Chris Geere (Klaus ), Della Saba (Veruca), Rahnuma Panthaky (Rukhmini), Ed Weeks (Colin) and Amy Hill (Pei Pei). With the announcement of the release date, fans of the franchise are excited. Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight will premiere on July 14 on Netflix.
