Shiva Nirvana's Kushi brings together two of South India's most recognised talents in Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film will be the duo's maiden full-fledged outing, having previously been paired in an ancillary narrative track of Nag Ashwin's Mahanati. Needless to say, the fans of the actors are super kicked to see what Kushi has in store, especially considering that the film has been billed as a breezy romantic entertainer.

To top things off, much of the film is likely to be set against the panorama of Kashmir and the first single from the soundtrack of Kushi highlights the beauty of the region. Originally titled Na Roja Nuvve in Telugu, the song has been dubbed and released in four other languages (including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada) in view of the eventual pan-Indian theatrical release of the film. The single has been garnering tremendous love from all corners for its captivating melody which is further accentuated by the use of traditional musical instruments such as Rabab, Bouzouki, Sarangi & Mandolin.

The lyrical video offers a few glimpses of the world of Kushi and fans are over the moon to see Vijay Devarakonda serenade his lady love Aara Begum (Samantha) with this winning number. Cinematographer Murali G captures the scenic locales of the heart of Kashmir and adds that element of vibrancy to the song.

The Kannada version of the song, titled Nanna Roja Neene, too, has charmed the audiences who have nothing but praise to share with the makers. Many of the comments emerging on YouTube have singled out singer and music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab's soothing voice and the fact that his enunciation of the Kannada lyrics is near perfect. V. Nagendra Prasad, Kannada cinema's premier lyricist, successfully manages to imbue the song with the required simplicity.

Kushi, produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravishankar Yalamanchili of Mythri Movie Makers, is scheduled to arrive in cinema halls on September 1, 2023.
