Kushi out on OTT: Where to stream the Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha starrer

Kushi had to click at the box office as Vijay Deverakonda's last release, Liger was a massive flop at the box office. To make a comeback, he teamed up with director Shiva Nirvana for Kushi which also had Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. 

Kushi OTT rights details

The romantic drama was released on September 1, 2023, and made Rs 70 crores gross in its first weekend but it slowed down after its first week. We at OTTplay were the first ones to reveal that the OTT rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix. 

The makers struck a handsome deal with Netflix as the streaming giant paid Rs 30 crores for the digital rights. We also reported that Kushi will be out on Netflix on October 1, 2023. Well, the film is now out on OTT and so much is being said about the film on social media.

Kushi box office collections

Kushi was produced by Mythri Movie Makers and they made this film on a budget of Rs 50 crores. The film had to make Rs 55 crores to be in the safe zone but the film only made Rs 45 crores in its full run. The makers lost close to Rs 15 crores and that money was recovered through other rights of the film.

One of the major reasons for the film's solid openings is the music of Hesham Abdul Wahab. Kushi is about a couple played by Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu who belong to families with different ideologies. 

Murali Sharma, Jayaram, and Sachin Khedekar played key roles in this film. Kushi has given a new lease of life to Vijay Deverakonda who is now shooting for his new film Family Star in the direction of Parasuram. For now, his room, Kushi is out on Netflix.
