Kutch Express teaser: Ratna Pathak Shah and Manasi Parekh film's is an intriguing tale of an artist

The much-awaited teaser of the upcoming Gujarati film Kutch Express has released, and by the look of it, the film seems to be quite promising.

Kutch Express marks the Gujarati debut of veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah and Taare Zameen Par fame actor Darsheel Safary. It also stars Manasi Parekh.

The teaser shows how a young woman from the Kutch, Gujarat (played by Manasi), decides to begin the journey to live out her dream of being an artist, but something holds her back. It goes on to show how she battles through and finds the inspiration to make her dream a reality.

When we spoke to Manasi, she said that working with a veteran actor like Ratna Pathak Shah was an experience that she will cherish forever. She also added that the veteran actress demands nothing but excellence, as she is very passionate about acting and cinema.

"Ratnaji is super passionate. She is a perfectionist and demands nothing but the best from herself and everybody around her. We bonded brilliantly over our love for Gujarati food," shared Manasi.

Ratna, on the other hand, added, "The experience was much more than I had hoped for. The team was excellent — skilled, hardworking and intelligent. I had never worked with my co-stars from this film before and was delighted by their enthusiasm."

Since this is the first time that Darsheel worked with Ratna and Manasi, the young actor said, "I've had one of the warmest experiences while acting in Kutch Express. I've known Manasi ma'am for years and we've discussed working on something together for quite some time. Now, it has finally materialised."

The film also stars Dharmendra Gohil, Viraff Patel, Heena Varde, Reeva Racch, Kumkum Das, Margi Desai and Bhumika Barot. Produced by Parthiv Gohil and Manasi Parekh, and directed by Viral Shah, the music of Kutch Express is composed by Schin-Jigar. The film is set to release in theatres on January 6, 2023.
