Malayalam film, Kuttante Shinigami, has made its digital debut. You can now watch the fantasy drama on Manorama Max.
The movie, which has Jaffar Idukki and Indrans in the key characters, was released in theatres in September last year. Despite its lacklustre theatrical run, it received accolades for its distinct theme. It was previously announced that Manorama Max had acquired the film's digital rights. Rasheed Parakkal's Kuttante Shinigami started streaming on the platform at 12 am on July 4. The same streaming service also offers Rasheed's earlier film, Manorajyam, which had Govind Padmasoorya, Ranjitha Menon, Navas Vallikkunnu and Gokulan in pivotal roles. The intricacies of marriage and evolving familial relationships were among the subjects covered in the film.
Anaswara Rajan-starrers Mr & Mrs Bachelor and Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal will soon be available on the same streaming site. In addition, it will feature Vinay Forrt's Samshayam. The recent films to make it to Manorama Max includes Sreenath Bhasi's Azadi, Dileesh Pothan-starrer Am Ah and more.
The fantasy drama is said to have a Japanese spiritual concept at its core. Viewers believe that Kuttante Shinigami achieves the perfect harmony between scientific and fantasy elements. A person who had training in Japan and obtained a doctoral degree in the field of Shinigami is one of the main protagonists in the movie. In several facets of Japanese religious beliefs, Shinigami are deities that symbolise death, according to reports. Jaffar Idukki's character Kuttan, a farmer from Thingalur, is another main character. Indrans, meanwhile, portrays the Shinigami.
Sunil Sukhada, Sumesh Moor, Shaju, Ashraf, Anish G, Munshi Ranjith, Unni Raja, Chandana, Akhila, Sinoj Varghese and Arya Viju are among the supporting cast members of this fantasy movie. The film's screenplay was written by the director. Kuttante Shinigami has been financed by Asharaf Pilakkal. The film's soundtracks are composed by Arjun V Akshaya. The film's cinematographer is Shihab Ongallur, while its editor is Zian Sreekanth.
