In episode 51 of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, Ajay requests Noina to listen to his pleas and tries to convince her to believe his innocence. Noina’s niece Mitali gets bored in the office, and she decides to spice it up by spreading rumours about Angad and Vrinda’s love affair in the workplace setting. This creates chaos as the employees make Vrinda uncomfortable with their questioning stares. Vrinda confronts Angad, but he advises her to ignore everything as addressing relationship rumours will only escalate the matter. Vrinda later agrees to Angad's plan and becomes calm.

Ajay goes to jail
Pari and her family visit Ajay’s house to discuss the matter after Pari’s serious allegations. Despite Ajay’s efforts to prove his innocence, everyone sides with Pari after seeing her domestic abuse scars. Later, police arrive at Ajay’s house to arrest the family on a complaint filed by women’s rights activists. It is revealed in a flashback scene that Pari pre-planned this arrest by video calling her friends and then telling them her lies and manipulation.
