With his directorial debut Lucifer, Prithviraj Sukumaran impressed fans with the attention to detail that has gone into each character and scene. So, with Empuraan, the second installment of the Lucifer trilogy, set to arrive in theatres soon, netizens continue to debate over the minute details on L2E posters. Among the posters released thus far, the poster of a person with a dragon motif on the attire had garnered attention. Empuraan director Prithviraj Sukumaran was recently asked if pan-India sensation Fahadh Faasil was the person on the much-talked-about poster. Read on to know his reply.
Prithviraj on whether Fahadh Faasil is in Empuraan dragon poster
During one of the promotions for L2 Empuraan, Prithviraj was asked if Fahadh Faasil was the man in the dragon poster.
Dismissing speculations that Pushpa 2 star was a part of Empuraan, Prithviraj said, “It is not Fahadh. If it is Fahadh, why should I ask him to turn that side?’
Released last year as one of the earliest posters of L2 Empuraan, the poster featured a person with his back to the camera and wearing an off-white attire that had a red dragon motif on it. This dragon poster led to several fan theories online and was one of the most discussed, among all the posters and glimpses released thus far.
Empuraan song Phir Zinda out
Meanwhile, the first single from Empuraan, Phir Zinda - The Ballad Of Retribution, has been released. The lyrical video is out now on YouTube. Composed by Deepak Dev, the song has lyrics by Tanishk Nabar and vocals provided by Anand Bhaskar.
Despite the lyrics being in Hindi, the song seems to have impressed the Malayalam fans who appreciated the energetic beats of the song.
Empuraan cast and crew
The Mohanlal-led ensemble cast, includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith, Kaarthikeyaa Dev, Kishore Kumar G, Suraj Venjaramood, and Fazil. Empuraan is coming six years after the first part in the Lucifer trilogy, penned by Murali Gopy.
