L366: Meera Jasmine reunites with Mohanlal for a full-length role after 13 years

Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine has joined the sets of superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming movie L366, helmed by Tharun Moorthy. This is a significant move for Meera Jasmine, who would be seen in a full-length role in a Mohanlal movie almost 13 years after they starred in the 2013 movie Ladies and Gentleman. The actress made a cameo appearance in Mohanlal’s 2025 hit Hridayapoorvam.

Rumours of Meera Jasmine playing the female lead in a Mohanlal movie have been doing the rounds for some time. Director Tharun Moorthy on Sunday took to Instagram to confirm that Meera is indeed part of his upcoming venture, which marks his second collaboration with Mohanlal after the blockbuster Thudarum. Sharing a picture of Meera arriving at the set, Tharun wrote in the caption, “Absolutely — her territory, no doubts”. Meera too dropped a comment on the post, “To all the good times ahead.”

The comments section of the post is filled with several heart emojis as fans are excited to see Meera back in a Mohanlal movie.

Meera Jasmine and Mohanlal first collaborated in the 2006 movie Rasathanthram, directed by the veteran Sathyan Anthikad. The young actress then once again joined hands with Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad for another movie in 2008, titled Innathe Chintha Vishayam. Meera again acted along with Mohanlal in the 2012 movie, Ladies and Gentleman.
