Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which was one of the most-anticipated movies of the year, hit theatres around the country on Friday. While the movie has been receiving largely positive reviews, actor Alia Bhatt has also taken to social media to share her thoughts about the remake. 

Alia took to Instagram to share her thoughts about the movie and she also had a message for the audience. Sharing a poster of the movie in the stories feature of the social media platform, she wrote, "Such a beautiful film- Go watch Laal Singh Chaddha only in cinemas!!!! You don't want to miss it." 

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays the female lead in the movie, soon replied to Alia’s story by reposting it on her own Instagram handle. Sharing Alia’s story, Kareena also replied with a sticker that read, “Love You.”

Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of the 1994 classic, Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks in the lead. Actor Atul Kulkarni has penned the movie’s adapted screenplay. Following its release, Laal Singh Chaddha has received mostly positive reviews. 

“Laal Singh Chaddha is for people who are craving to watch an out-and-out drama, which has been a miss on the big screen for a very long time. The film makes you cry, laugh, and leaves you gasping at the way our country has changed over the years,” read the movie’s review on OTTplay. 

Directed by Advait Chandhan, the movie also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in important roles, with the former making his Bollywood acting debut. The coming-of-age drama is now available in theatres near you.
