Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan premiered in theatres today. In response, the actress posted an unseen photo from the film's set. Kareena posted the photo on her Instagram account with the caption, "Aamir, Advait, Jeh Baba, and I... Thank you so much for the memories... Forever Rupa and Lal. Today's Laal Singh Chaddha... @aamirkhanproductions @advaitchandan."

During the filming of Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena was carrying her second child, Jehangir, with her husband Saif Ali Khan, who was welcomed on February 21, 2021. The photograph also included Aamir Khan and filmmaker Advait Chandan, with the movie's team surrounding them.

Multiple celebs have commented on the photo, including Priyanka Chopra, who posted a heart eyes emoji. Kareena's admirers also filled the comment section with love and excitement for the flick.

Check out my post:

Kareena highlighted in a recent interview with Pinkvilla how she agreed to do the project. "Aamir always wanted to make Forrest Gump and I'm completely honoured that Advait (Chandan) and Aamir thought that I could play Jenny. Because it's Jenny’s role, it's not black and white, it's slightly grey. It was fun and it was really nice."

She continued, saying Aamir had doubts about choosing Kareena for the film, but once she gave the screen test and read the character, everything fell into place. Kareena added, "And I think that it's so brave of him to make this film, and I think it's brave of all of us to actually play this part, and I hope we have met the expectations of the audience."

Meanwhile, Advait has directed Laal Singh Chaddha, which was scripted by Atul Kulkarni. Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya also appear in the film. It is an official Hindi remake of the Academy Award-winning 1994 film Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks.

On the work front, Kareena will appear in Sujoy Ghosh's thriller flick opposite Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. She will make her debut as a producer with Hansal Mehta's thriller project.
