Kareen Kapoor Khan was pregnant with her second child during the making of Laal Singh Chaddha but the entire production team, led by Aamir himself, went to great lengths to make her comfortable on sets. During an interview in 2021, the Veere Di Wedding expressed immense gratitude to her co-star Aamir Khan for providing the best of facilities despite the Covid threat and supporting her through the pregnancy period. Things would get tricky though, she adds, when she nearly fainted on the sets during the eighth month of her pregnancy but was soon back to her chirpy best, thanks to the wonderful team. She goes on to share that her son Jeh is part of a romantic song that also features Aamir Khan!

Following a brief break, Kareena Kapoor Khan is back to business with Laal Singh Chaddha and is currently shooting for Sujoy Ghosh's Indian adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X along with Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Verma, and others.

Laal Singh Chaddha marks Aamir Khan's return to the big screen after a four-year gap after the critical disaster Thugs of Hindostan. The upcoming film is the official remake of Robert Zemeckis' Forrest Gump that stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright with Aamir Khan himself producing the Hindi version. Advait Chandan directs the film.
