Laal Singh Chaddha song Kahani: Aamir Khan and Sonu Nigam create magic exploring this Punjabi army officer’s journey of life

Laal Singh Chaddha’s Kahani song is out, this time with the video. The track beautifully shows our Punjabi munda Laal’s journey. He is going to turn an army officer soon and be well recognized for the same.

As every Forrest Gump fan would go through the journey of Kahani, they would see just how the transition happens as Tom Hanks’ did. From believing that his life revolves around his mom and girl friend from school, to excelling in sports and thus, getting admitted to the army to be more disciplined, Laal’s journey resembles Forrest’s very well.

Add Sonu Nigam’s voice to the whole journey and you have a masterpiece at hand. This, we say, along with the beautiful visuals seen in the song.

Kahani sees the journey of Laal Singh Chaddha from his childhood to his 50s. While Aamir doesn’t play the role of a child, he is seen as his younger self and an older version. In the older version, Aamir has a long beard and hair.

Laal is seen from running a marathon to running to save his fellow soldier’s life. He is seen parting ways with Karmajit (Kareena Kapoor Khan) beautifully and then playing table tennis and dancing with her in their own room.

The clip also features Naga Chaitanya and Aamir’s brother Faisal Khan. While Naga plays his fellow soldier, Faisal (without giving any spoiler) will play what the important character in Forrest Gump was.

The movie marks Chay’s debut in Bollywood. It also features Mona Singh in the lead role of Laal’s mother.

Helmed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha will release in theatres on August 11. The OTT release date and platform for this film are yet to be announced.
