The long wait is finally over as the trailer for Laal Singh Chaddha is finally out. Featuring Aamir Khan in the titular role, the video gives a glimpse into the growing years of his character, from being a physically challenged boy to becoming an army official. The trailer shows Aamir talking about being well whenever someone asks him if something is wrong. The actor's stupendous performance will leave you teary-eyed instantly.

To support him are incredible female actors like Kareena Kapoor Khan as his childhood love, with whom he wishes to spend his whole life with. On the other hand, there is Mona Singh, as Aamir's onscreen mother, who always thinks well of her kid and motivates him to be the best version of himself throughout the film.

The highlight of the trailer is the 'Bhaag Laal Bhaag' dialogue, which gives instant goosebumps. The trailer ends with the dialogue, which is the Hindi version of the iconic quote from Forrest Gump: Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. Here Aamir is heard talking about 'gol gappas' and it's too sweet for words.

Forrest Gump's adaptation went through several alterations over the course of nearly 14 years, with Atul Kulkarni spending the first few years developing the script and another few years obtaining the remake rights.

Laal Singh Chaddha is set to hit the big screens on August 11, 2022.
