Laal Singh Chaddha: Will Aamir Khan's film break record of his earlier highest-grossing Bollywood film Dangal?

Aamir Khan will be returning to the silver screen after about four years with the much-anticipated movie, Laal Singh Chaddha . It is a film that everyone's eagerly waiting for as the actor, who is known as Mr Perfectionist in Bollywood, is known for delivering blockbusters with great content. But only time will tell if his film will smash all the box office records, created by Hindi films so far, including his previous film, Dangal.

The actor is currently busy promoting his film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role, along with Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in important roles. And there are a few reasons to believe that the film can create a Rs 400 crore club this year.

Aamir Khan has delivered blockbusters at the box office

Apart from his last movie, Thugs of Hindostan, the actor has always delivered blockbuster films. He is known for the inauguration of every club in Bollywood. His film Ghajini with Asin created Rs 100 crore club while his comedy 3 Idiots led to the creation of the Rs 200 crore club. The actor who plays a major role in Dhoom 3 set the box office on fire by earning Rs 250 crore club and his next film, PK only broke that record by earning Rs 300 crore club. His sports biopic Dangal created Rs 350 crore club in Bollywood and still holds the position in the Top 10 movies of India. It is the highest-grossing Bollywood film in India so far. As the actor himself has been breaking records of his earlier films, it can be expected that this time, it would be no different. Laal Singh Chaddha could inaugurate a Rs 400 crore club.

Laal Singh Chaddha is remake of Forrest Gump

Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of Tom Hank's film, Forrest Gump. The Hollywood cult classic is one of the finest films in the history of cinema. The 1994 film, directed by Robert Zemeckis, opened to positive reviews, especially for direction, performances and screenplay. It won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Tom Hanks. Considering how Aamir Khan pays attention to every detail as he is Mr Perfectionist and how it took 14 years to make, one can expect nothing less than a spectacular movie experience from him again in the form of Laal Singh Chaddha .  

Laal Singh Chaddha to feature three Khans together

There are reports that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will appear in Aamir Khan's film in cameo roles. If they are to be believed, this would be the first time that all three Khans are coming together on the big screen and hence, it will be a visual treat for the fans. It would also definitely help the film earn more at the box office.

The cast of the film, including Naga Chaitanya

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya, who have huge fan following too. The film marks the Bollywood debut of the actor Naga Chaitanya, who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. Hence, the film will also appeal to the south Indian audience even more.

Laal Singh Chaddha to release on holidays

Aamir Khan's film Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled for release on August 11 on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. It will soon be followed by the national holiday on August 15, owing to Independence Day. The film can hence, expect a huge number in terms of footfalls and so, collections at the box office.
