Indian actress-influencer Lakshmi Manchu has started working on her four-part series which would deal with stories of children who have battled the COVID-19 pandemic. The series is set to focus on the journey of the parents and their children who had been affected by the virus.
A report by IANS quoted Lakshmi Manchu as saying, "There is a lot of information that is floating around but very little catering specifically to kids. As a mother, I had a lot of questions and concerns and I thought we should curate something during this pandemic to enlighten parents on how to take care of their kids if they are affected by COVID-19 in any way."
Talking about her other guests, Lakshmi added, "There is a nutritionist from Hong Kong who will specifically cater to babies and toddlers, besides a therapist to understand what grieving is and how to talk to children and what are the words to use. Then I thought it would be fun to have some yoga where mothers can partner with their children."
The series, titled Unlocking Positive Childhood Experience, will stream on Lakshmi’s own YouTube channel. The actress signed off stating that it is best for parents to not rub off their fears onto the children, since the little ones are more resilient than the parents could imagine.
The actress had recently participated in Rana Daggubati’s talk show No. 1 Yaari with her BFF Rakul Preet Singh. On the work front, she is last remembered for her role in Pitta Kathalu.
