Late Sidharth Shukla bags most popular male actor in web originals at Screen XX 2021 awards

Sidharth Shukla has bagged the Screen XX 2021 awards a month after his sudden demise. He won the Adgully's Editor Choice and the Most Popular male actor in web originals awards. The award was for his debut in the web series Broken But Beautiful 3.

Sidharth won a gold medal for the categories. The event was held on October 6 and 7. His role as Agasthya was appreciated by critics and audiences alike. Taking that into consideration, Screen XX decided to dedicate the award to the late actor.

Not just Sidharth but his show Broken But Beautiful 3, the platform AltBalaji, and its owner Ekta Kapoor also won the awards. Broken But Beautiful 3 won the bronze for 'best use of social media by the brand' and silver for 'best marketing for a web original - digital only'.

AltBalaji's The Married woman won Gold for 'best marketing for a web original - across platforms'. The story, featuring Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra in the lead roles, explored a married woman discovering herself and realising that she is bisexual.

Meanwhile, Bicchoo Ka Khel won a bronze for 'best marketing campaign launch for web series (Hindi/regional)'. The series starred Divyenndu Sharma in the lead role.

Ekta Kapoor won a Gold medal for 'Entrepreneur of the Year'. AltBalaji is currently awaiting the release of their next show Girgit. Starring Nakul Sahdev, the series is slated to release on October 27.
