Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy (streaming)

This biographical documentary already dropped on Discovery+ on January 2. Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy explores FRIENDS actor Matthew Perry's rise to fame and his tragic final days with insights from his castmates, friends, co-stars, and Perry's own candid accounts. Matthew, who played Chandler Bing, his memoir revealed a struggle with addiction and an overdose of ketamine that was the suspected cause of his death back in 2023 at the age of just 54.

90 Day Fiance: UK Season 3 (January 9)

This British reality TV show was premiered in 2022, which is the localised spin-off version of the original American TV show from 2014. 90 Days Fiance follows eight international couples as they meet face-to-face for the first time in the UK and have ninety-days to get married or return to their respective homes. Season 3 of this reality show premiered in the UK in 2024, and now coming to India in 2026 on Discovery+.

Gold Rush Season 16 (January 16)

Another reality TV show from the US that follows the gold mining efforts of various popular companies, initially in Alaska, but then mostly in the Klondike region of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. Prior seasons also included mining efforts in Guyana, Oregon and Colorado. The first episode of Gold Rush Season 16, titled ‘Records Will Be Broken’, was released last year in the US, and is now coming to India in 2026.

Mother, May I Murder? Season 2 (January 22)

This true-crime documentary series explores shocking real-life stories where mothers and their children conspire in murder driven by greed, revenge or cruelty. Viewers can expect to watch family disputes, psychopathic mentalities, featuring disturbing scenes and dark dynamics, as investigators unravel twisted motives and shocking truths behind these horrific acts. Mother, May I Murder? Season 2 consists of eight episodes, and premiered in October 2025 in the US.

Leopard Dynasty: The Rise of Rana (January 26)

This is an Indian documentary movie directed by Aishwarya Sridhar, which follows the real-life story of a leopard named Rana located in the Jhalana Reserve in Jaipur, India. The movie follows Rana’s daily life challenges for dominance against his father Bahadur, for control of the territory, his power struggles, survival and forming unlikely alliances with a female leopard named Flora, as he tries to establish his own dynasty. It's a story about Rana’s journey from being a pampered cub to a powerful contender.
