The deluge of Kannada film releases is far from over. In the last week of February, 11 films are vying for the attention of audiences, who, what with IPL and exam season have been shunning theatre halls. Whether or not any of the films this week manage to make a mark remains to be seen. From Prajwal Devaraj to Priyanka Upendra, Pruthvi Ambaar, Pramod Shetty, among others, have films in theatres this week.
A Brahmarakshasa demon, bound and trapped in a sealed box, is accidentally delivered to a police station’s evidence room. When the demon is inadvertently released, chaos erupts, leaving suspended officer Sathya (Prajwal Devaraj) to confront the monstrous threat alone. As he struggles to survive the demon’s growing power, Sathya also uncovers a dark conspiracy that led to his fall from grace. Will he survive the fight against the demon and his own inner demons?
Also starring Sonal Monteiro, KS Sridhar, Shobraj, Arna Rathod, among others, the film has been directed by Lohith H.

Director Sabu Aloysius’ Life Is Beautiful has Pruthvi Ambaar and Priyanka Upendra in the lead. The film follows Surya (Pruthvi), a failing engineering student turned reluctant lift operator, whose life transforms when he meets Caroline (Priyanka), a painter seeking purpose. Together, they uncover the beauty in friendship, dreams, and life’s simplest moments. The film is the Kannada remake of the 2019 The Lift Boy.
