Latest Kannada OTT releases (September 15- September 21) - Here is the list of what you can stream on various digital platforms or watch in theatres this week.

It's the countdown to the release of Kantara Chapter 1, so, the theatrical and OTT releases are relatively smaller titles. There are two confirmed OTT releases, while one still remains tentative. In theatres, there are two thrillers, one of which has actor Rajavardan making his debut as a producer.

RJ-turned-filmmaker/actor Mayur Kadi presents a love story set in Uttara Karnataka, in which he played an RJ who runs a dating advice show, yet is chronically single. When he meets and bonds with a young Mysurean called Kushi, and then has his heart broken when she mysteriously disappears from his life, he goes on a mission to find her or get closure.
Streaming on Sun NXT (Via OTTplay Premium also) from September 19

Vinnod Prabhakar’s highly appreciated outing as a hardened hangman, whose life changes after he meets Sonal Monteiro’s Parvathy, was said to be OTT bound in early August, but that did not pan out. The makers then inked a deal with another platform, where the film will be available on rent only for a week, following which it will be accessible to subscribers for free.

Kireeti Reddy’s much-delayed launch pad, the Kannada-Telugu bilingual Junior has been rumoured to be OTT bound for a while. The team or the streamer is yet to confirm any details. Junior, directed by Radhakrishna Reddy (of Mayabazar 2016 fame), also stars Sreeleela, Genelia Deshmukh, V Ravichandran, Kiran Srinivas, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, among others.

Director Sunil Kumar’s Kamal Sridevi follows the murder of a woman named Sridevi in a bustling market area of Bengaluru, which triggers a complex police investigation. The story unravels through the conflicting perspectives of seven different characters, each offering a new twist to the tragic tale. The film stars Sangeetha Bhat, Kishore, Sachin Cheluvarayaswami, Ramesh Indira, Mitra, among others.

This thriller directed by Bhumireddy Chandra Mouli follows a young couple, Karthik and Divya, and their young child. When Karthik and the child inexplicably die in a road accident, Divya suspects foul play begins investigating the crash. She is joined by a journalist, Priya, and together they unravel a conspiracy to find the real culprits behind the deaths. The film stars Apurva, Dharma Keerthiraj and Garima Singh in the lead.
