Latest Kannada OTT releases (December 1 to December 7) Here is the list of what you can stream on various digital platforms or watch in theatres this week.

December has a lot of excitement in store for Kannada film audiences, with several star-led films - The Devil, Mark and 45 – set to hit theatres. The first week of the month, though, has nothing in terms of Kannada originals in theatres, although the other language offerings maybe quite tempting, like, Akhanda 2, Dhurandhar and Kalamkaval, for instance. On OTT, there’s only one Kannada original that’s been officially announced, but there are interesting dubbed offerings.
Here’s a look at the Kannada original and dubbed films in theatres and on OTT in the week of December 1 to December 7
On OTT
Arasayyana Prema Prasanga
Mahantesh Hiremath is in the lead of this light-hearted romantic comedy about a small-town temple pujari who is hard of hearing and dreams of finding his soulmate. What happens when he falls in love with the new employee at the local post office forms the crux of the tale. Directed by JVR Deepu, the film also stars Rashmitha R Gowda, PD Sathish Chandra, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Vijay Chendoor, among others.

The Girlfriend
Dia-fame Dheekshith Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna star in the Telugu original film about toxic relationships directed by Rahul Ravindran. Dheekshith had received much praise for his performance as Vikram, the boyfriend, whose every word and action literally saps the life out of Bhooma (Rashmika). The film will be available with Kannada audio.

Dies Irae
Malayalam filmmaker Rahul Sadasivan’s third horror film after Bhoothakalam and Bramayugam, Dies Irae stars Pranav Mohanlal in the lead. In the film, Pranav’s character is haunted by a former classmate/fling, who then commits suicide, or so he thinks, until the haunting continues even after all the rituals to guide her spirit to the afterlife. Does she still have unfinished business, or is another spirit after him?

Akhanda 2 Thaandavam
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda sequel, Akhanda 2 Thaandavam, is reportedly releasing in theatres with a Kannada dubbed versions, which will be a minor fraction of the Telugu original. Boyapati Sreenu’s film, which has music by Thaman, also stars Samyukta, Aadhi Pinishetty, Kabir Duhan Singh, Saswata Chatterjee, Achyuth Kumar, among others.
