Excited for the coming week owing to (most of) BTS' return? Well, there's a lot more happening in K-Town. One of the most promising dramas of the month is scheduled to drop this week and you're probably not ready for it! Ok Taecyeon is coming back, and it is in a fantasy drama! This week, we also have the biggest deja vu of February since revenge and Melo Movie is the theme of the week too! So hold on, for the ride has just begun!
While we were still getting over the hangover of Mercy For None (featuring My Secret Terrius actor So Ji-sub), here comes a new revenge drama. The Woman Who Swallowed The Sun might be a title that appears too drastic but it is not as much when you hear the story. This is the tale of a mother who is out seeking revenge after her only daughter dies thanks to the power a chaebol empire holds. Starring Jang Shin-young, Seo Ha-joon, Yoon Ah-jung and Oh Chang-suk, one needs to watch out for this series.

June 11 marks a special date for more than one reason. While BTS ARMY can rejoice since 6 out of the 7 members (Kim Seokjin and Jung Hoseok are already discharged, while Kim Namjoon, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook will be out after serving in the South Korean military by the day) would be back together, the most promising K-Drama of the month (after Good Boy, of course) also releases on the said day!
Those who missed seeing Ok Taec-yon (The Game Towards Zero), he is back, and this time, it is in a fantasy drama! The actor plays the royal prince Lee Beon, who exists in a fantasy novel, a la W: Two Worlds Apart. Our female lead, Seohyun, on the other hand, is a university student who happens to wake up as a noblewoman Cha Sun-chaek. These two get entangled in a romantic moment, only for her to realize that he needs to be with the woman originally written for his story (Kwon Han-sol's Jo Eun-ae). Unfortunately, though, he is attracted to the woman from outside his world, and that is a complicated space to be in.

If you thought you were over Melo Movie already, K-Dramas have made sure that love story does not end too soon. Nam Koong-min and Jeon Yeo-been are here, and you are taken back in the world of filmmaking. His Lee Je-ha is a maker who is stuck in a loop he cannot seem to get out of. That is when he meets someone who has it worse but doesn't let it show. Aspiring actress Lee Da-Eum battles a terminal illness, but keeps it hidden till she works with the filmmaker and they fall in love. Can this love heal her, or will there be a different ending?
