Latest OTT Releases This Week: From Soulcatcher to Dhoomam - Must-Watch Movies This Weekend

There is a tonne of new content available across many OTT platforms as we enter a new month. As per usual, we are here to provide you with a complete list of all OTT releases. The following are some of the highlights and the reasons for watching them:

Dhoomam on Amazon Prime Video

Hombale Films' Mollywood debut, Dhoomam, is scheduled for OTT release after failing to gain traction at the box office. The thriller, starring the versatile actor Fahadh Faasil and Aparna Balamurali, centres on the kidnapping of the marketing director of a cigarette business and his wife. Vineeth and Roshan Mathew are among the cast members of the Pawan Kumar-directed Kannada movie. The film is all set to start streaming from 4th August. 

Why you should watch it: The star cast of Dhoomam is one of the reasons why you should not miss this film. Fahadh Faasil, who is known for his outstanding performances is one of the major reasons you should not miss this one. Apart from that, the film will keep ypu on the edge of your seats for its thrilling plot.

Soulcatcher on Netflix

Polish action/sci-fi film Soulcatcher stars Piotr Witkowski, Jacek Koman, and Jacek Poniedziaek. The movie centres on a military contractor who is tasked with obtaining a weapon that transforms users into ferocious killers. When his brother is a victim of the gadget, he wants retribution. Daniel Markowicz makes his debut with Soulcatcher. From August 2, Soulcatcher is streaming on Netflix.

Why you should watch it: Watch it for the more understated performances of Aleksandra Adamska and Vanish Luthra. Stankiewicz is a welcome and boisterous presence in Soulcatcher. Do not miss it as you will see some fantastic team assembling scenes.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart on Amazon Prime Video

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is based on the bestseller book by Holly Ringland. Sigourney Weaver, Asher Keddie, Bryan Brown star in the series. It follows Alice Hart's upbringing as she is raised by her grandmother on a flower farm after losing her parents in a fire. On August 4, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart will become available on Amazon Prime Video.

Why you should watch it: Watch it for the heartbreaking story of pain, healing, and forgiveness. Sigourney Weaver gives a standout performance. You will feel your heart and soul being touched by the Lost Flowers of Alice Hart.
