As these two galactic empires come together in an awkward partnership, a terrifying warlord called "The Mule" emerges, intent on controlling the world by mind control and physical and military force. The outcome of a potentially fatal game of interstellar chess between Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, the Cleons, and Demerzel remains uncertain.
