Thaai Kizhavi – Theatres (February 27)

Thaai Kizhavi is an upcoming Tamil rural comedy-drama which revolves around an elderly woman. Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan in his debut and produced by Sivakarthikeyan, veteran actor Radhika Sarathkumar plays the titular role. Her character is expected to be that of a fierce, sharp-tongued rural woman who commands fear and respect in her village. The story revolves around her life as a local moneylender and the social dynamics that unfold around her authority, blending humour with grounded drama and emotional moments. The supporting cast includes Singampuli, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Ilavarasu, Aruldoss and George Maryan.

Thadayam – ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium (February 27)

Thadayam is an upcoming Tamil crime-thriller web series written and directed by Navinkumar Palanivel. Featuring Samuthirakani in the lead role, the show marks his first major venture into the web-series format. Samuthirakani plays SI Athiyamaan, a grounded police officer who is probing a series of chilling murders. Inspired by true events from 1999, Thadayam revolves around a sequence of brutal midnight murders in rural villages. Each crime scene is eerily similar, with the killer stealing sacred marriage symbols, suggesting a deeper, possibly ritualistic motive that puzzles local authorities. The cast also includes Sshivada, Raj Tirandas, Munnar Ramesh, Sundharpandyan, Prem, Kotravai, Vishakan and others in key supporting roles.

Roslin: Secret Stories Unfold – JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium (February 27)

Roslin: Secret Stories Unfold is a Malayalam psychological thriller series, which will also be available in Tamil. Helmed by Sumesh Nandakumar, Roslin comes from writer Vinayak Sasikumar and Jeethu Joseph as showrunner. Actors Vineeth, Meena, Sanjana Dipu, Hakim Shahjahan, Anishma Anilkumar, TG Ravi, Shankar Ramakrishnan, and Aroop Sivadas are also part of the show. Roslin revolves around a child who gets disturbed nightmares about a stalker. However, as her parents dismiss it, the child's fear multiplies when the stalker turns up as house guest.

Aazhi – Theatres (February 27)

Aazhi is an upcoming Tamil film headlined by Sarathkumar, and is a gripping story set against the backdrop of ocean. Directed by Madhav Ramadasan who has also written the film, Aazhi is about a sea man who gets entangled in a series of personal problems that lead to his life being changed upside down. The cast includes Indrajith Jagajith, Devika Satheesh, Vaiyapuri, Sreejith Revi, Birla Bose, Thamaraiselvi, Sarjin, Mythili Sathyaraj, Binish Babu, Biju Mavunkal Varghese, Teena Bhatia, and others.

Theri re-release – Theatres (February 27)

Theri, the 2016 Tamil film, will once again hit theatres. The Vijay-starrer action thriller is helmed by Atlee and features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Amy Jackson, Nainika and others. Theri follows Vijay as a brave ex-cop who abandons his violent past to protect his daughter. When a ruthless criminal threatens their peaceful life, he must reveal his true identity, seeking justice and vengeance while shielding his loved ones from danger.
