With November already here, and as we move towards wrapping up 2025 in a couple of months, new releases are on the horizon. Some of the notable titles are to drop on streaming platforms, while others are to hit theatres. Here are some of them:

Latest Tamil OTT releases (November 2 – November 8)

Bad Girl – JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium (November 4)

Bad Girl is a Tamil coming-of-age drama written and directed by Varsha Bharath and produced and presented by Vetrimaaran and Anurag Kashyap. The film stars Anjali Sivaraman as protagonist Ramya, a young woman navigating the rigid expectations of her conservative household, her own romantic desires, and the turbulence of adolescence through to early adulthood. The coming-of-age drama had opened to positive reviews but did not fare well at box office. It premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and won the NETPAC Award.

Kiss – ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium (November 7)

Kiss is a Tamil fantasy-romantic comedy marking the directorial debut of choreographer Sathish Krishnan. The film stars Kavin as Nelson, a gifted musician who obtains a mysterious book and thereby acquires the supernatural ability to visualise the future of any couple whenever they share a kiss. His cynical view of love is overturned when he meets Preethi Asrani’s character Sarah, realises a tragic fate connected to her, and tries to intervene in destiny itself. With music by Jen Martin, Kiss also features VTV Ganesh, Rao Ramesh, Prabhu, Devayani and others.

Aaromaley – Theatres (November 7)

Aaromaley is an upcoming Tamil romantic drama directed by debutant Sarang Thiagu. The cast features Kishen Das, Shivathmika Rajashekar, Harshath Khan, and VTV Ganesh among others. Aaromaley follows a young man who, while working at a matrimonial firm, helps others find love and begins reflecting on his own journey of relationships and self-discovery. With music by Siddhu Kumar, cinematography by Gowtham Rajendran, and narration by Silambarasan TR, the film promises a light-hearted, feel-good experience.

Bigg Boss Tamil 9 - JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium (ongoing)

The ongoing Bigg Boss Tamil 9 has been witnessing some high moments, with the wildcard entrants all set to enter the house this week. With Vijay Sethupathi hosting the show, and already five contestants out of the show, the upcoming weeks is expected to have more twist and turns.
