Kaantha – Theatres (November 14)

Kaantha is an upcoming Tamil period drama, which stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. The film is written and directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, with Dulquer producing the film along with Rana Daggubati. As both the stars appear in the film, it is set against the backdrop of the 1950s Madras’ movie industry and the drama that explores between a protégé actor and his director. Actors Bhagyashre Borse, Samuthirakani and others have also played important roles in the film.

Kumki 2 – Theatres (November 14)

Kumki 2 is a Tamil adventure film helmed by Prabhu Solomon and is a standalone sequel to the director's 2012 film Kumki. Starring debutant Mathiyazhagan along with Arjun Das, Shrita Rao and others, the film will explore the man-animal relationship, especially with elephants.

Dude – Netflix (November 14)

Dude, the Tamil romantic entertainer, starring actors Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, is directed by debutant Keerthiswaran. The film is one of the blockbusters this year, and had collected Rs 100 crore. The film revolves around two childhood friends and cousins, as they process unrequited love while also navigating through marriage and pregnancy. Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon and Rohini form rest of cast.

Avihitham – JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium (November 14)

Avihitham is a Malayalam black comedy drama helmed by filmmaker Senna Hegde. The film features actors Unni Raj, Renji Kankol, Vineeth Chakyar, Dhanesh Koliyat, Rakesh Ushar and Vrinda Menon among others. It revolves around a man who finds out about a couple's illicit affair, as the news soon spreads, resulting in some villagers taking upon themselves to find the culprits.

Telusu Kada – Netflix (November 13)

Telusu Kada is a Telugu romantic drama helmed by debutant Neeraja Kona. The film stars actors Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, with music by Thaman. Telusu Kada revolves around a couple who get married and plan for a baby. However, they realise that she cannot bear one, as they turn to IVF specialist who happens to be husband's ex. Things turn complicated when the doctor becomes the surrogate.

Bigg Boss Tamil 9 – JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium (ongoing)

Bigg Boss Tamil is past its one-month mark, with the wildcard entrants already in the house. With no dearth to drama, and double eviction recently, Bigg Boss Tamil 9 will be seeing some dramatic turn of events with this week including the kingdom task where the contestants will be roleplaying as kings, queens, and subjects.
