Laughter Chefs 2: Has Abdu Rozik quit Bharti Singh-hosted show? Here's the truth

Laughter Chef has engaged the viewers with its entertainment appeal since season one. The new season, Laughter Chefs 2, underwent some changes in regards to its celebrity participants. Abdu Rozik of Bigg Boss 16 was one of the latest additions to the cooking reality show. Earlier today, media reports suggested that Abdu had quit Laughter Chefs 2 due to his prior work commitments. However, the rumors are untrue! Rozik's team has issued a clarification about the same.

Abdu Rozik has NOT quit Laughter Chefs 2

Abdu Rozik's team has denied the speculation about him quitting Laughter Chefs 2. The reality show star is on a short break to spend time with his family during the holy month of Ramadan.

"Abdu Rozik has not quit Laughter Chefs 2. He is on a short break due to Ramadan, spending time at home for religious observance. Any news claiming otherwise is baseless," his team told Pinkvilla. Abdu is currently in Panjakent, Tajikistan with his loved ones. His team also confirmed that Rozik will resume shooting for Laughter Chefs 2 from April 1, 2025.

For those unaware, Abdu is partnered with Elvish Yadav in the cooking reality show. Other set of celebrity contestants include Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain, Rahul Vaidya, and Rubina Dilaik, Mannara Chopra and Sudesh Lehri, Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar, and Krushna Abhishek-Kashmera Shah.

Abdu Rozik talks about doing Laughter Chefs 2

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes TV, Abdu Rozik shared his experience of working on Laughter Chefs season 2. The former Bigg Boss 16 contestant shared, "The experience on the show is always enjoyable and full of surprises. Each episode introduces a different menu, which keeps it fresh and exciting. It’s always a fun surprise to see what’s cooking next."
