Lavanya Tripathi, who impressed audiences with her performance in the dramedy Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, will be back in a crazy, wild avatar in her next titled Happy Birthday. The more interesting aspect of the film being, it is directed by Ritesh Rana, who impressed critics and audiences like with his storytelling mettle, writing and execution in his debut film Mathu Vadalara. Happy Birthday, Ritesh's second film, is produced by Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu under Clap Entertainment in association with Mythri Movie Makers.
Naveen Yereneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili are the presenters of the film. Happy Birthday, the makers assure, is by no means a conventional film, who also add that it is a surreal comedy laced with thrills and action. The director promises to transport audiences to a fictional world that is sure to surprise many. Happy Birthday has already wrapped its shoot and earlier today, the producers announced that the film will release directly in theatres on July 15.
Both the first look poster of the film and Satya's birthday poster hinted at an unusual, madcap story in the offing. Meanwhile, in the release poster, Lavanya in a fashionable attire is erupting out of joy, with XXX Force pointing guns at her. This yet again proves that the film is set to be a wacky adventure for audiences. The poster is filled with partly bizarre, unusual statements like ‘No Gun No Entry'.
Naresh Agastya, Satya, Vennela Kishore, Gundu Sudarshan, and others essay crucial roles in the film. Kaala Bhairava is on board as the music director with Suresh Sarangam cranking the camera. Ritesh Rana pens the dialogues, while Narni Srinivas and Shankar Uyyala are the art director and the stunt director respectively. Teja R is the costume designer and Baba Sai is the executive producer.
