Squid Game 3 trailer has left fans of the Korean series excited about what is to come. Right from Lee Jung-jae turning VIP and realizing who the Frontman really is, to the games being revealed, the trailer has everybody on a chokehold. Fans of the series cannot wait to see what the finale has to offer. Lee Byung-hun, who plays Frontman in the series though, already knows the ending and is happy with it! Meanwhile, Lee Jung-jae (Gi-hun in the drama) promises that viewers would enjoy how it all unfolds. Here's what they said...

Lee Byung-hun happy with Squid Game 3 ending

Lee Byung-hun, who plays Frontman in Squid Game 3, told The Hollywood Reporter after the trailer was unveiled at Tudum that he read the script for Squid Game 2 and 3 together, and that he's happy with how the series has unfolded. "I’m happy with how it ended but I know that the fans out there, they each have what they want to see happen, so I really am curious about how they’re going to respond to it," the actor confessed. He emphasized that people are going to be particularly impressed with director Hwang Dong-hyuk’s storytelling.

Lee Jung-jae's reaction

Lee Jung-jae, on the other hand, was quite nervous about how the viewers would react after watching the season and Squid Game finally come to its grand finale. "I know that a lot of you out there are curious about what’s going to happen in season three, but all of us are more curious about how much you’re going to enjoy it," he said, adding that he cannot wait for the fans to witness the magic and is nervous about the reactions.

About Squid Game 3

Apart from Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, Squid Game 3 features Wi Ha-joon (Midnight), Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Jo Yuri, Lee David, Roh Jae-won and Park Gyu-young in pivotal roles. The Netflix series will be out on June 27. Even though Squid Game will mark the end of the storyline for Lee Jung-jae's Gi-hun, the makers have hinted at it being expanded into a franchise which will explore the world of Squid Game with spin-offs. Lee Byung-hun's Frontman and Gong Yoo (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God)'s Salesman are some of the frontrunners for the spin-offs but nothing is confirmed so far. As for season 3, whether T.O.P or Bad Papa actor Lee David somehow make a comeback remains to be seen.
