Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming actioner, Leo, is the talk of the town these days. One of the reasons for the same is definitely the star studded cast of the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, which seems to be getting bigger with each passing day. Among the stars in the film is Babu Antony. The actor recently opened up about a heartwarming incident that occurred on the sets of the film.
In an interview with Cue Studio, Babu Antony opened up about the time he had met Vijay and Lokesh for the first ever time. Babu said “When i first met him he was wearing a pair of headphones and focussed on watching a scene, so I went on my way. A while later, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and it was none other than Vijay. He apologised and said that he did not see me. I was struck by how humble he was.
Vijay then actually went on to list a couple of movies of mine, and I was awestruck to realise that he had seen so many of my films. He then told me ‘I am a big fan of yours”, he concluded.
Babu went on to reveal that not only Vijay, but Lokesh, the film’s producer and even the rest of the cast and crew had known him really well. “Even though I have not done a lot of films, I was lucky enough to earn a place in their hearts and minds”.
In addition to Babu and Vijay, the upcoming Tamil film also features Joju George, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sandy Master, Mathew Thomas, Manobala, George Maryan, and Kathir in pivotal roles. It is also speculated that Kamal Haasan will be a part of the film as well. The film is bankrolled by Jagadish Palaniswamy and Seven Screen Studio.
