Leo: Gautham Menon wraps up the shoot for Vijay's next with Lokesh Kanagaraj?

If the buzz is to be believed, actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is said to be playing a crucial role in the film, has wrapped up his portions. We hear that the actor and director will soon return to Chennai. It was only recently that Gautham Menon had celebrated his 50th birthday on the sets of the film in Kashmir. Picture of the celebrations where the Vendhu Thanindhathu director is seen cutting a cake was doing the rounds on the internet.

Actor-director Mysskin, too, had recently wrapped up his portions from the film. While Mysskin had taken to his social media handle to pen a heartfelt letter of his experience working in the film, Lokesh Kanagaraj had later dropped a picture with the ace director and stated that he can never thank him enough. The director wrote, "My Dear @DirectorMysskin sir, A million thanks won’t suffice to express how grateful and fortunate I feel to have had the opportunity to work with you in such close capacity. We had an absolute blast having you on sets Sir.I can never thank you enough but a million thanks ! #Leo (sic)."

The film has an ensemble star cast which includes Sanjay Dutt as the prime antagonist, along with Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Manobala, Mathew Thomas, Sandy Master, Mansoor Ali Khan to name a few. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. Leo marks the comeback of Trisha and Vijay after a span of 14 long years. The hit combo of the 2000s had earlier worked together in films like Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi and Kuruvi.

The dialogues for the film are penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj himself along with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy.
