The team of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo dropped a brand new poster today. With just a month to go for the film's release, the team will release a series of posters in the next two days.
The Kannada poster
The poster for the Kannada version features a huge gun and a stylish Vijay in an intense avatar. The tagline says, "Keep Calm and Plot Your Escape". The production house, Seven Screen Studio, captioned the picture, "KEEP CALM AND PLOT YOUR ESCAPE Watch this space, #LeoPosterFeast will unveil stories, one poster at a time Kannadadalli #Leo bharjari release #LeoKannadaPoster (sic)."
It was only yesterday that the makers had revealed the poster for the Telugu version of the film. The poster featured Vijay in the bitterly cold weather in Kashmir. His stylish appearance had instantly set the internet on fire.
A grand release for the film in the UK
The ticket sales for Leo began six weeks before the film's release in the UK, the first Tamil film to do so, according to the makers. Today, Ahimsa Entertainment, which is distributing the film in the UK, announced that 23,000 tickets have already been sold. They wrote on their social media handle, "Over 23,000 tickets and still counting! The #ThalapathyVijay craze is real. Exciting times ahead as another cinema chain is about to open #LEO bookings this week. Keep the love coming! UK & Europe release by #AhimsaEntertainment (sic)." Leo will be the first movie of Vijay to have an IMAX release.
Leo second single in the pipeline
The film's music composer Anirudh Ravichander has stated that the update on the second single will be out soon. The film's star cast includes Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand to name a few. Manoj Paramahamsa has handled the cinematography, Philomin Raj is in charge of the editing. The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route.
