The actor will be joining the team for its Chennai schedule next
Sanjay Dutt, who is said to be playing the prime antagonist in Vijay's next with Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo, has wrapped up his portions for the Kashmir schedule. The actor will now join the team once again for its Chennai schedule. The team has been shooting the lengthy schedule in Kashmir for a while now and it looks like some of the major action sequences have been shot there as film's stunt choreographers Anbariv were present in the schedule. The team is likely to wrap up the schedule by the end of this month after which they will begin shooting in Chennai.
The producers of the film, dropped a picture with the Bollywood star and wrote that the entire team enjoyed his performance. They wrote, "Thank you @duttsanjay sir, you’ve been such a sweet & down to earth person.Our entire team enjoyed seeing your performance so close by, you rocked as usual sir. Eagerly waiting to see you back on the sets in the Chennai schedule. Meendum sandhippom sir- With Luv,Team #LEO (sic)."
In the meantime, Sanjay Dutt seems to have visited the popular Aishmuqam Shrine in Anantnag. The shrine has been constructed in the honour of Hazrat Zain-u-din Reshi. The actor paid his paid obeisance at the revered Sufi shrine.The actor seems to have recollected that his first film, Rocky (1981) was shot at the valley and that he always loved coming there. He said that he also hoped that more films were shot in Kashmir. It is to be noted that a Qawwali from Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijan was shot there.
The team had recently celebrated the birthday of Lokesh Kanagaraj on the sets and pictures of the same have been doing the rounds on the internet. Sanjay Dutt, too, had dropped a picture with the director, which he captioned, "Happy birthday my brother, son, family @Dir_Lokesh, may God give you more success, peace, happiness and wealth, I am always with you for life, stay blessed. Love you! (sic)."
The star cast for Leo includes Vijay, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Sandy Master, Mathew Thomas to name a few.
