The world of streaming globally has already witnessed a wide range of content and it’s just March. No, we aren’t complaining but we are giving you a reminder that a whole lot has already happened in the digital space, where we saw the release of some very big projects. While Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, and Max have been marking their content attendance, there are also some silent players who have been delivering some very interesting lists of shows and movies. Lionsgate Play is one of the few platforms that has offered a wide range of content in the past two months. It also includes a couple of award nights, including the Golden Globes and the Emmys. The slate for March 2024 is no less.

Lionsgate Play is now competing with the streaming giants by bringing us some of the biggest IPs that the streamer holds. They include some recurring ones as well as some new ones. There is a platter ready for us that ranges from bending mysteries to heartwarming stories. This is not it; there is also enough thrill, a lot of happiness, and a whole lot of content on the other side of the tunnel.

So now that we are halfway through March, let’s see what we have seen on Lionsgate Play and what we are about to see. Below is the list of content for March 2024.

No Way Up

Release Date: 15th March 2024

Cast: Phyllis Logan, Colm Meaney, and Will Attenborough.

The only movie on the roster, No Way Up, is a survival drama like no other. The movie is about a group of passengers who, in a plane crash, fall into the Pacific Ocean. The attempt is now to come back alive as they try to find a way to the shore with bloodthirsty sharks hovering around the wreck of the crashed plane. The movie is high on tension, great in action, and visually stunning.

Tokyo Vice S2 (Weekly Drop - Episode 5 Onwards)

Release Date: 1st March 2024

Cast: Ansel Elgort, Koshi Uehara, Ken Watanabe, and Rachel Keller.

The second season of the widely popular show Tokyo Vice is shifting the base and how. The show is now centred around a Western journalist, played by Ansel Elgort, who is trying to understand the world of the underworld in Tokyo. He is given the task of taking down one of the city’s most influential crime bosses. The thrilling show will see the journalist enter this dark world with a mission and try to complete the mission while being alive.

Senorita 89 S2

Release Date: 8th March 2024

Cast: Natasha Dupeyrón, Ximena Romo, and Ilse Salas.

Senorita 89 is, of course, not made for everyone. The show has a very niche fanbase and they love what is offered to them. Often defined as an addictive show, Lionsgate Play’s Senorita 89 season 2 is set to enter deeper into the world of dark secrets and hidden desires that lurk beneath the glamorous disguise. The show will get into the Miss Mexico Beauty Pageant again and explore the world in a much bigger way.

Operation Mincemeat

Release Date: 1st March 2024

Cast: Colin Firth and Matthew Macfadyen.

Operation Mincemeat, a period project, is a complete show set against the backdrop of World War II. It has two British Intelligence Officers in the centre, as they are planning to mislead the Nazis. But the challenge now is to protect a massive overruling force from established German power and prevent a potential massacre. The movie is a mystery drama that has a lot for lovers of history and thrills.

Memory

Release Date: 29th March 2024

Cast: Liam Neeson, Guy Pearce, and Taj Atwal.

It is the story of an ageing hitman who now wants to go away from the world of risks. When he refuses to take an offer, the members of a ruthless organisation set out to kill him. He embarks on a journey where he should save his life, sort out the puzzle his life is for him at the moment, and also figure out the conclusion to the mess unfolding around him. Liam Neeson at the centre of this action drama calls for a treat.
