Lines trailer: Hina Khan shines in the cross-border conflict flick

Hina Khan’s upcoming film Lines is all set to premiere on Voot, as part of the Voot Select Film Festival.

Hina is cast in the role of a bride named Kazia, who hails from Kashmir. She is, however, caught up in the middle of a cross-border conflict.

Lines talks about the border stretched between a pre-Independence and post-Independence India. It explores the Kargil war of 1999 and how Kashmir has suffered the most after that.

Everyone knows the struggles that come with crossing the border, but Lines tries to bring a fresh perspective to the same. It shows us the story of how a newly-married Hina is separated from her husband and has to lead a life beyond the Indo-Pak border, in a place like Kashmir.

Directed by Hussein Khan, Lines also features Farida Jalal and Rahat Kazmi in the lead roles. Hussein himself plays a major role as an actor in the film.

Meanwhile, Hina has co-produced the film. She shared a glimpse of her character on Instagram writing, “Meet NAZIA, in a story of a naive young girl, who makes her journey through the challenges created by mankind.”

The poster of Lines was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival. Hina had made her debut at the festival back in 2019. She made headlines for her stunning red carpet appearances and tete-a-tete with Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The actress, who recently explored the web space with Damaged 2 (streaming on Hungama Play), was last in news for her song Baarish Ban Jaana. She paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh in the number. For the uninitiated, Shaheer has been making headlines for replacing Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav in the web series Pavitra Rishta 2.
