Reiterating the phase age is just a number, debutant director Jayalakshmi has helmed her first Tamil feature at the age of 63. Actors Ganja Karuppu and Lingesh will be featuring in the yet-to-be titled film. It is produced by Sky Wanders Entertainment, and will feature actor Leah as the female lead.

Actor Ganja Karuppu who is predominantly known for his comical roles in Tamil cinema, is set to feature in a love story. The film is directed by Jayalakshmi in her debut directorial at the age of 63. The title of the film will be officially announced soon.
Touted to be a triangular love story set against the backdrop of the lives of fisher folk, the film revolves around a woman who comes from London to explore India and Tamil Nadu’s culture as she falls in love with a young fisherman, who is also engaged to his uncle's daughter.
The film also features Lingesh, who has played supporting roles in films like Kabali and Pariyerum Perumal, and protagonist in College Road. British actress Lea is playing the female lead in the film. Others part of the cast include debutants Divya, Katpadi Rajan, Madhusudhanan, Maran, Ganja Karuppu, Siddha Darshan and Senthil in pivotal roles. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up with the post production going at the moment. The first look and teaser of the film will be announced soon.
Besides direction, Jayalakshmi will also double up as producer and back the film under the banner Sky Wanders Entertainment, with Kadpadi Rajan serving as executive producer. The technical crew consists of Moodar Koodam fame Doni John cranking the camera, and Sandy Chandello scoring the music. Swetha Mohan, Saindhavi, have crooned for the songs. Gopi Krishna is editing the film. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
