April Fool’s Day: Some hilarious pranks pulled off by some of Bollywood’s biggest names like Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan

It’s April Fool’s day and there is no better feeling than pranking one of your friends or family. I mean, after all, that is what the day is all about. There are also some really good pranksters in Bollywood who love a good prank or two. So here are some of the hilarious pranks pulled off by some of Bollywood’s biggest names. 

Akshay Kumar

Let's start off with a comedy king in the reel world. Akshay Kumar who has delivered several hilarious comedies is known to pull off a few pranks every now and then. Amongst his victims are co-stars Huma Qureshi, Mouni Roy and Siddharth Malhotra. The actor once pranks Mouni Roy during the filming of Gold. Posing as a reporter he even got the actor to reveal some information about the film. Another one of his pranks was when he stole Huma Qureshi’s mobile phone and sent out marriage proposals on her behalf to many Bollywood actors.

Ajay Devgn

After playing many macho, super serious action heroes in movies, it's hard to imagine Ajay Devgn as a prankster. But during the filming of Singham Returns, the actor teamed up with Rohit Shetty and got one over the entire film’s crew. The actor made the crew believe the shooting location was haunted and took it to the next level by asking a spot boy to wear a white cloth and simply run around. Good one, Ajay. 

Aamir Khan

The Perfectionist has a few hobbies other than changing shape and form for his many roles. The actor loves a good prank. During the filming of Dangal, Aamir pretended to have hot coffee in a mug, and “spilled” it all over co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. The young actor, who had believed Aamir had hot coffee, screamed and jumped in fear of getting burnt. One of the more grosser pranks from Aamir, is where he would let people think he knows how to read palms, but would end up spitting in their hands and just running away. 

Ranbir Kapoor

During the filming of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin were supposed to take some Vodka shots for the filming. The process is that the shot glass would be filled with water instead of vodka, but Ranbir had other ideas. The star filled the shot glasses with actual vodka, surprising his co-stars during the shot. Maybe That’s a good prank or maybe Ranbir just wanted to promote method acting.

Abhishek Bachchan

During the music release of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan se, Abhishek played a prank on his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The star led his wife into their “hotel room”, only for Aishwarya to be shocked as she opened the door. When she opened the door, she was looking at the men’s toilet, with some men looking back at her in shock. Aishwarya laughed it off and slowly realised what just happened.
