Directed by Nelson Venkatesan, Farhana is a thriller-drama film that revolves around the titular character, a middle-class woman who works at a call centre. As the days pass and Farhana keeps doing well at her job, she shifts to another department for a better salary and begins connecting with a stranger over repeated calls. The film is about how Farhana cuts all ties with the stranger and the latter's chain of reactions. The film also stars Selvaraghavan, Jithan Ramesh, Anumol and others.

Kaaka Muttai – Disney+ Hotstar

Kaaka Muttai is a critically acclaimed film directed by Manikandan. The film is about two young siblings who reside in a low-income settlement and are very much tempted to eat pizza after they are not allowed to enter the restaurant. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the role of mother to the two boys. Kaaka Muttai fetched many awards in India and internationally, including the National Film Awards for Best Children's Film and Best Child Artist. Dhanush and Vetrimaaran have backed the film.

Kanaa – ZEE5

Produced by Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, Kanna stars Aishwarya Rajesh as an aspiring cricketer who wants to play and win for her country. The film follows her trials and tribulations to enter sports and earn a name for herself. The film also stars Sathyaraj, Darshan, Ilavarasu and others. Kanaa opened to a positive reception and was remade in Telugu as Kousalya Krishnamurthy.

Ka Pae Ranasingam – ZEE5

Ka Pae Ranasingam is directed by Virumandi P and stars Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh. The film is based on true events and revolves around a recently widowed woman and her efforts to bring his body back home to India. Exploring the concepts of political issues, corruption and red tapism, Ka Pae Ranasingam won positive reviews upon its release.

Soppana Sundari – Disney+ Hotstar

Soppana Sundari is a black comedy drama directed by SG Charles and features Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Deepa Shankar, Karunakaran, Sathish Krishnan, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Sunil Reddy, Sha Ra, and others. Soppana Sundari is about a lower-middle-class family who are suddenly gifted a car when they win a lottery draw. However, just as when the family is happy about this, a chain of events invites trouble to the family.
