Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu

Another Silambarasan-starrer, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, is directed by Gautham Menon, with the story penned by Jeyamohan. The film traces of a youngster, Muthu, who runs from poverty and reaches Mumbai in hope of earning a livelihood to survive. The underdog story revolves around how Muthu, who joins a restaurant in Mumbai, climbs up the ladder of the underground. Given that the film is set in a gangster culture, it is aplenty with action blocks and a gripping storyline.

Vikram

Vikram is the second installment in director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, with actor Suriya appearing in a post-credit scene. A new spin on the actor’s 1986 film of the same name, Vikram traces the life of the protagonist, who pairs up with Fahadh Faasil’s Amar to make society drug free. The film exists in the same universe as Lokesh’s Karthi-starrer Kaithi, with the actor lending his voice for a crucial post-credits scene. With AnbAriv in charge of the stunts, Vikram is sure to give an adrenaline rush.
