Jackson Durai – ZEE5
Starring father and son duo Sathyaraj and Sibiraj, Jackson Durai is written and directed by Dharani Dharan. Sibiraj plays a cop who is sent to a palace speculated to be haunted by a colonial ghost. To prove it’s not the truth, the cop has to convince the villagers about their beliefs and unearth the real issues.

Kanchana - SunNXT
The 2011 film stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role along with Sarathkumar, Kovai Sarala and Lakshmi Rai while Devadarshini and Sriman among others. Kanchana is the sequel to the 2007 film Muni. The film revolves around Raghava who has a fear of ghosts, but gets possessed by a spirit of a transwoman. Kanchana was a tremendous hit upon its release, with instalments being made in the Kanchana franchise.
Aranmanai - SunNXT
A horror comedy, Aranmanai is the first instalment of the film franchise and is directed by Sundar C. The film stars Andrea Jeremiah, Hansika Motwani, Raai Laxmi, Kovai Sarala, Manobala, and others. Aranmanai is about a family who arrives to their native place in order to sell their ancestral property. However, fate has other plans for them when their efforts are thwarted by evil spirits. The franchise is directed by Sundar C and has three parts, with the fourth instalment due for release.
Whistle – SunNXT
Whistle is an adaptation of Urban Legend film and was released in 2003. The horror slasher film stars Vikramaditya, Gayathri Raguram, and Sherin alongside Vivek, Dhivyadarshini, Livingston, and others. Directed by JD-Jerry duo, Whistle is one of the horror films that can give you chills. Whistle is about a group of college students who come to know about the mysterious presence of a spirit on their campus, as they try to unearth the truth. With each life taken down, the sinister force has something in mind and begins to trap each of them in the most haunting way possible.
DD Returns – ZEE5
Directed by Prem Anand, DD Returns is a horror comedy headlined by Santhanam. The film also stars Surbhi, Redin Kingsley and others. DD Returns is about a group of men who are chased by police and hide their fortune in a haunted bungalow. However, they must dare and venture inside the premises to retrieve their treasure.
