Actor Siddharth, who was last seen in the recently released Netflix film Test, is celebrating his birthday today (April 17). Often known for his romantic comedies and love stories, the actor has starred in more films that are beyond just romance. Enakkul Oruvan is a psychological drama and a remake of the 2013 Kannada film Lucia. The Tamil version is helmed by Prasad Kumar. Udhayam NH4 is an action thriller film directed by Manimaran, and written by Vetrimaaran who also produced the film. Siddharth and Ashrita Shetty play the lead roles, along with Kay Kay Menon, Aadukalam Naren, Kaali Venkat and others in supporting roles.
Sivappu Manjal Pachai is written and directed by Sasi and is an action thriller. Starring Siddharth, GV Prakash Kumar, Lijomol Jose, Kashmira Pardeshi and others, the film revolves around a strict traffic police officer whose wedding is arranged with a woman whose brother is a street racer.
Starring Siddharth, Nimisha Sajayan, Anjali Nair, and others, Chithha is a drama film which revolves around the relationship between a man and his niece. After the man is blamed for a heinous crime, Chittha revolves around the aftermath of the incident. Helmed by SU Arun Kumar, Chithha is produced by Siddharth and opened and positive reception for its performances, writing and sensitive portrayal.
Kaaviya Thalaivan is a period drama film based on a theatre group, and is helmed by Vasanthabalan. The film stars Siddharth, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vedhika, Nassar, and others, with music scored by AR Rahman. Kaaviya Thalaivan is a film which is set in pre-Independence era and revolves around two theatre artistes and the unspoken rivalry that takes place between the two who come from different thought processes.
