The show centres on the conflict between two groups of teenagers looking for a lost treasure. It is set in a community on North Carolina's Outer Banks. The show is about a group of Pogue teenagers who reside at The Cut and are motivated to learn what happened to John B., the group's leader, who went missing. They soon find a treasure along the route connected to John B.'s father.
