The movie revolves around the search for the legendary Hirokagar diamond, which is said to be bigger and brighter than the Kohinoor. The movie is based on Samaresh Basu's story Sonali Parer Rahashya and features a child detective named Gogol, played by Ahijit Ghosh. His curiosity is piqued by the mysterious Mandar Villa, known as "Hanabari" or the haunted house.

Avijatrik

It is a sequel to Satyajit Ray's Apu Trilogy, exploring Apu's wanderlust after the events of Apur Sansar. The film shows Apu, who is now the father of his six-year-old son Kajol, and travels from Kolkata to the north of India. This journey leads Apu to a chance meeting with his childhood sweetheart Leela, whose health is deteriorating, and she is going to Benares to visit her daughter.
