Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the 2008 movie stars Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. In the movie, an anonymous caller confronts a police commissioner and threatens to blow up bombs all over Mumbai on a (date unknown) Wednesday, if four terrorists are not released from police custody. The movie took home several honours, including the National Film Award for Best Debut Picture of a Director.

The film, an unofficial remake of the American 1991 film A Kiss Before Dying, depicts a cold-blooded killer with a grudge. He seduces the elder daughter of a businessman before killing her in a way that gives the impression that she committed suicide. Then he makes plans to kill the rest of the family.

Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai

Ajay Devgn, Prachi Desai, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, and  Randeep Hooda are the main actors in the 2010 crime thriller, directed by Milan Luthria. The lives of gangsters Dawood Ibrahim and Haji Mastan serve as an inspiration for the movie. The film begins in Bombay in March 1993, with DCP Agnel Wilson attempting suicide after the recent bombings in Bombay. He says the bomb attacks were his fault when his superior questions him about his behaviour.

Gupt: The Hidden Truth

Rajiv Rai's 1997 psychological thriller Gupt: The Hidden Truth starred Bobby Deol, Kajol, and Manisha Koirala in key roles. In the movie, Sahil (Deol) is determined to prove his innocence even after being arrested for the murder of his stepfather.
