Actors Willem Dafoe, Geoffrey Rush, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, and Albert Brooks lend their voices to the movie. The film won the Best Animated Feature award at the 76th Academy Awards, the first Pixar film to achieve the feat.
